Jennifer began working part-time at Wholeness Healing Center in May of 2014. Prior to that, she completed her practicum and internship at the Crisis Center working in the Grand Island office.
Jennifer graduated from Dana College with a Bachelors of Social Work. She earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of New England, having a LICSW and LIMHP license. She has worked with geriatrics, adult mental health programs, domestic violence victims and veterans. Jennifer has worked with clients using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She received DBT training through workshops and also has training working with domestic violence victims through the Crisis Center.
Jennifer enjoys working with individuals and family, couples and groups. She especially enjoys working with individuals with a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, victims of domestic violence, geriatrics as well as blended families. A population she has experience with is those facing end-of-life situations. She will do home-based services, as well as working in the Grand Island Wholeness Healing Center office.
In her spare time, Jennifer likes to spend time with her family and her two dogs, Cleo and Sammy. She enjoys working in her garden, running and taking white water rafting trips. She enjoys traveling and is looking forward to her next white water rafting trip in Colorado.
