Heather Rankin, LIMHP
Heather Rankin is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner. She grew up in rural Nebraska and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from UNK in 1999. She continued her education at UNK and received her Master of Science in Education degree in Community Counseling in 2002.
Heather started at Wholeness Healing Center in June of 2019. She currently works in the Grand Island office once a week and is in the Albion office all other days of the week. Her background includes work with foster youth in California, as well as experience supporting children, families, and individuals through different life experiences.
Heather is trained in many areas with children, play therapy, sand tray therapy, and modalities for all populations. She was trained in EMDR Level I and II in 2020 and in hypnosis in 2023. She also stays current with EMDR through advanced training and regular group consultations.
Heather works with trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, childhood abuse, marital issues, and eating or weight management concerns.
