Sacred Depth Within
Sacred depth within
tendrils swooping out
sharp beams of light then
diffused and gentle then
harsh and probing
torching crevices of hurt
pain laden pores
soothes the arc of
brittle rage that leaps to the surface
flies to escape into
more hurts denied
more savages bloodied
more wounds opened to
light
calm
gentle
after the rain washing pain
tears
settling into crevices of salty bites
tranquillized by your eyes
