Adjunct Modalities: Round 5, Energy Work

Continuing the series of adjunct modalities, I would like to focus this article on two different energy modalities, one in Grand Island and one in Kearney. Teresa Bushnell, Energy Practitioner and Certified Reflexologist, is located in Kearney and has been practicing for quite a few years. She had other professions, all leading her to her current position, most related to body energy. A session with Teresa is totally individual, with the direction going where the client needs, according to the “vibrational match”. She shared her belief that “Human nature wants to recreate awesome experiences” and that her goal is to practice “divine neutrality” and to read the energy of the moment. She shared that she tries to “empower people to sense their own energies” by creating unity, to practice kindness, and that she likes to “help people understand on micro and macro levels”, recognizing the consciousness of each.
Bushnell was the driving force behind the Shift in the Heartland, which seemed to be the premier event that brought people together in the Midwest several years ago, gave them a place to share and experience, and has been a springboard for many soul festivals, Zen Fests, gatherings of the like, empowering many to step forward and into their knowing. While Shift in the Heartland no longer occurs, the effects have continued to influence the consciousness of the Midwest.
Bushnell has an office at 5 East 24th Street in Kearney, with a facebook page and a website (www.teresabushnell.com) which tells more about the specific sessions, contact information, as well as an overview of her training. In fact, it is difficult to describe her work as it is more of a feeling, and certainly an experience. Whatever is on your heart comes to the forefront at that given moment, to be addressed, or at least become aware of. This will truly be an unforgettable experience.
Another option for doing some serious internal work is in the realm of sound bath. Marie de Martinez, located at Sana Vida in Grand Island, provided a great vibration and energy session, using sound bath, different bowls, in an almost hour long session. There was a short interview at the beginning, to help her focus on the intention of the client, and then the client lies on the bed for the session. I had previously had a sound bath session, with another provider several years ago, and this one far exceeded my expectations. Not only did I feel relaxed upon completion, I also felt that I had been able to let go of some stressors I had been carrying in my body, as well as alleviate some uncomfortable or unwanted pains.
In addition to the Sound Bath, Marie is also an executive and life coach, a Reiki practitioner, as well as incorporating sound healing. She is a Registered and Licensed Sound Practitioner. She shared that the appointments could be 30. 50, or 75 minutes. I believe with the interview and the processing following, I was there for slightly over an hour. It was not only very relaxing, I also felt moved to do some internal work while on the table. Things I had been vaguely aware of became clearer to me.
Booking for Sound Bath and other offerings from Marie can be through Sana Vida (www.sanavidawc.com)or through Marie personally at her website www.sagehc.com or by texting 308.380.7868. Both of these practitioners would be options for delving deeper. I always feel like the connection needs to be a good match, and my feeling was one of openness for both modalities. If you are searching for a different way to move forward on your path, either of these would certainly be options of the most sacred manner.
