Notes of Growth

Trim-Life hypnosis program and my weight loss.
I am a skeptic. When Deb told me about the Trim-Life program and how hypnosis could help me lose weight I thought ‘yeah, right!’ I didn’t want to lose a ton of weight, just enough to make me feel good about the way I looked. I knew what I needed to do . . . eat less junk and exercise. All I needed was the willingness to do it. Deb said that I knew that intellectually but the hypnosis gives new messages to the subconscious. I thought ‘yeah, right!’ She said to think about it and let her know if I wanted to participate.
Finally I thought I’d give it a try . . . after all, my way hadn’t been working for the last several years. I went through the four week program–one evening a week for two hours–talking about my eating habits, going through hypnosis to uncover where my food issues started, listening to the hypnosis cds at home. I enjoyed the sessions; I talked with Deb and ate the healthy snacks she brought. I laughed and even cried a few times. I was surprised at the feelings uncovered during the sessions without any effort on my part.
My eating habits started changing . . . on their own! Instead of setting an entire box of cereal or package of crackers next to the bed for my TV watching snack, I had carrots and celery or almonds to munch on—and I didn’t miss the cereal or crackers! Instead of stuffing myself I ate only when I was hungry—what a concept! My subconscious eating patterns were changing!
It has been several months and I have lost 17 pounds. I feel good about myself. I do not feel deprived. I eat what I want but I want different things. If I want a snack I have one, but usually I have less. Deb was right! The Trim-Life program changed me from the inside out, and that is the best and most lasting type of change! Thank you!
