Ruth Jones

Ruth Jones, LICSW, LIMHP, began working at Wholeness Healing Center in October, 2020. Ruth grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from Avila University in Kansas City Missouri, with her undergraduate degree in Social Work. After moving to Nebraska, Ruth earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social work in 2015. Ruth did her undergraduate practicum at Village Shalom Skilled Nursing Facility and her graduate practicum at the VA hospital in Grand Island, Ne.
As a therapist, Ruth believes in meeting clients where they are. Ruth practices client-driven therapy and works hard to develop a collaborative relationship with each client. Ruth has experience working with many populations, including children, families, and older adults. Ruth specializes in working with grief and loss, issues surrounding adoption, depression, and anxiety. Ruth uses modalities such as CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and attachment theory in her practice.
Outside of work, Ruth spends most of her time with her husband and 5 children. Ruth enjoys spending time outside and reading.
