Embracing Life Through Horses byKacey Woodliff, Guest Contributor

Hello! My name is Kacey and I would like to introduce myself! I live in Broken Bow, NE and I am an Equine Gestalt Coaching Method – Certified Practitioner. Now you are probably thinking an Equine what? An Equine Gestalt Coaching Method – Certified Practitioner is a “Life Coach” who is certified in working with horses, to help people deal with and face difficult issues and create positive growth and change in their lives. We help people find clarity and become inspired and motivated to live happier, more fulfilling lives.

Okay, that sounds great, but now you may be wondering, why “with horses”? Horses are very insightful animals. They are believed to be deeply connected to humans with their ability and willingness to help us humans and guide us out of our struggles and back into our best light. This is remarkable. The founder of the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method speaks of horses in this way: “Horses touch and (their) mere presence can heal us and give us insight and connection. I believe horses were put on this earth to help humans heal. I stand in service of the horse to assist them to communicate with us as we are learning to receive from them.” (Melisa Pearce)

Here at my EGCM business, which is called Embracing Life Through Horses, I specialize in, but am not limited to, helping women, teens and emergency service providers. Please keep in mind that this is NOT therapeutic riding; it is more focused on mental and emotional health and healing. No horse experience is required, and if you are afraid of horses, that is okay also!

I am extremely excited to be doing this healing work with my horses and am blessed to have the opportunity to offer it to the people of central Nebraska. It is undoubtedly remarkable what these horses can do to help people. I hope we can get the opportunity to share it with you!
