I completed the eight-week course, Mindful Approach to Living, based on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with Janie and it was amazing. I learned so much about stress reaction and how it affects me. I learned to pay attention to what is going on inside me and in my surroundings through being mindful. The course has laid the groundwork for me to continue meditation, yoga and mindfulness in my daily life. I learned how to participate in body scans and this is helping me considerably. I highly suggest anyone take this course as it has helped me immensely to take better care of myself and really be a part of my own life. Amazing . . . the support I received was tremendous and to be able to attend future mindfulness silent retreats is a gift to myself.
